Popular Himalayan Treks & Expeditions
Authentic Uttarakhand trekking packages, high-altitude alpine traverses, and trans-Himalayan motorcycle expeditions departing from Rishikesh and Dehradun.
Source of the Ganges & Tapovan Expedition
The Ganges is considered the most sacred river in India, and this pilgrimage-expedition follows her upstream to her true geological origin: the Gaumukh ice snout of the Gangotri Glacier. The journey begins from holy Rishikesh, ascends to ancient Gangotri Temple, and ventures into Gangotri National Park. Ascending beyond Gaumukh leads to the mystical high-altitude alpine meadow of Tapovan (4,400m), situated directly at the base of Mt. Shivling (6,543m) — the 'Matterhorn of the Himalayas' — and the world-famous Shark Fin north face of Mt. Meru, surrounded by meditating sadhus and awe-inspiring stillness.
Kalindi Khal Trek: The Great Traverse
A legendary high-altitude traverse that takes you halfway round Garhwal from the Bhagirathi Valley to the Alaknanda Valley, giving a thrill to even the most seasoned mountaineers. Starting from holy Gangotri, the route traverses the Gangotri Glacier to Nandanvan (base of Bhagirathi peaks with unmatched views of Mt. Shivling), continues along Chaturangi Glacier to the shimmering high lake of Vasukital, crosses the formidable 5,947m (19,506 ft) Kalindi Khal Pass under towering Kamet & Mana peaks, and descends through Arwatal and Mana village (the last village on the frontier) to conclude fittingly at the holy Badrinath Temple.
Kuari Pass Trek (The Curzon Trail)
Amongst the most celebrated ridge treks in the Garhwal Himalayas, charted by Lord Curzon in 1905 and known worldwide as the 'Curzon Trail'. The route ascends from the alpine slopes of Auli through virgin oak and rhododendron forests to the sprawling high-altitude meadows of Gorson Bugyal and Kuari Pass (4,200m). Trekkers are rewarded with arms-length panoramic vistas of India's most revered summits — Mt. Nanda Devi (7,817m), Kamet, Dronagiri, Neelkanth, Changabang, and Hathi-Ghodi Parvat — combined with visits to historic Joshimath and rejuvenating dips in the natural hot sulfur springs of Tapovan.
Markha Valley Trek
The definitive high-altitude journey across Ladakh and Hemis National Park, Markha Valley combines the dramatic trans-Himalayan geology of Zanskar with lush green oasis villages, ancient Buddhist monasteries, and high pastoral plateaus. Crossing two formidable passes — Ganda La (4,900m) and Kongmaru La (5,030m) — the route unfolds breathtaking views of the Karakoram range (including K2 on clear horizons), glaciated Kang Yatse peak (6,400m), irrigated barley terraces, mani stone walls, and authentic Ladakhi peasant culture.
Grand Circuit Zanskar & Ladakh Motor Biking
The ultimate trans-Himalayan motorcycle odyssey through India's most remote high-altitude wilderness. Riding Royal Enfield Himalayan (450cc / 411cc) bikes with a dedicated support truck, master mechanic, and road captain, this epic circuit conquers the newly opened Shinkula Pass into hidden Zanskar Valley, navigates rough cliffside trails to Padum and Lingshed, sweeps past ancient monasteries to Leh, climbs over Chang La (17,500 ft) to Pangong Tso, rides the forbidden border routes to Hanle and Tso Moriri, and tackles the dizzying 21 Gata Loops across the More Plains back to Manali.

Pindari Glacier Trek (Rhododendron Trek)
Pindari is the most accessible and celebrated glacier in the Kumaon Himalayas, nestled on the outer ring of the Nanda Devi Sanctuary. The glacier forms the snout of the roaring Pindar River, a key tributary uniting at Karnaprayag and Devprayag to create the Holy Ganges. Winding through dense virgin forests of cedar, oak, and rhododendron (which changes color from deep purple to pink as you ascend), the trail opens to breathtaking close-up vistas of snow-clad summits: Nanda Kot (6,861m), Maiktoli, Nanda Khat, and Panwalidwar. The valley is also a paradise for birdwatchers and home to musk deer, barking deer, bharal, and the Himalayan black bear.

Responsible Tourism in the Himalayas
The Himalayas are fragile ecosystems and home to ancient mountain cultures. We conduct every expedition with deep reverence for local communities and zero-impact environmental ethics.
1:6 Guide-to-Guest Ratio
Strict safety standards with 1:6 ratio on regular treks, and up to 1:3 ratio on high-altitude summits and winter expeditions.
Leave-No-Trace Policy
We bring back 100% of all trash generated on our trips. Garbage is segregated at source and recycled or disposed of responsibly.
Small Groups (Max 12)
Unlike poor waste management trends, we limit our trekking & camping groups to a maximum of 12 people to respect the trails.
Himalayan Homestays
We support village homestays to offset livestock losses from snow leopards, directly funding conservation of these rare cats.
How Long It Takes Waste to Bio-Degrade in Wilderness
Organic matter takes an extremely long time to decompose in high-altitude desert or alpine settings. Think before you discard!
Stories from Fellow Travelers

"I have already been a leader of Japanese Expeditions six times in Indian Himalayas since 1988. Mr. Ramesh Rawat was the most excellent person among mountaineers. The highest responsibility was accomplished for safety and the fragile alpine environment."
